Chad the Maverick is an intuitive and passionate astrologer who has spent nearly a decade making the language of the stars feel immediate, usable, and human. He began his creative and spiritual work in 2017.

The maverick part is not a costume. It grew out of sitting with charts for years, and out of impatience with astrology that stays in the air as theory, or behind a gate. He wanted something you could use the same night you opened it.

The work has one steady aim: to remind people of the shining star they already are, and to show how the cosmos moves through their own elements rather than hovering above them as abstract theory.

Why Asteria exists

I always had the theory that if you don’t like something, become the solution. If there’s something that bothers you, do something about it. Be something that makes a change, that makes a shift.

I made something in frustration of not just the industry but of just people like myself not having something to say that we have and that we made and that we own.

It doesn’t matter how much astrology you know or don’t know with this app. It’s going to let you know what’s going on.

This was like a real, genuine passion project of trying to solve something and solving it for those who want to see change.

That frustration became Asteria: an engine that speaks in sentences that land, whether you know the language of the stars or not. No prior expertise. Your natal, the sky today, the year, two charts together, a library you can keep.
